Hey readers, a friend shared this video and it made me curious of what it was about. This video is really inspiring. It's about a man who listens to a christian song and as he walks the streets, he starts to feel the song and what it's all about. Please watch the video, it really is worth watching. And if you liked it, share it to your friends and family. Thanks!
P.S: I will be posting some pictures I took for the past few days some other time. Been kinda busy lately.. OH I made another blog dedicated for Project 365. Click here to go there. And here for the introduction of the blog. :)
At first I thought this video was a little tricky but easy enough that I passed the test. THEN it asked a second question which I was NOT aware of. I laughed at myself for not noticing it >.<
Try the test, it made me realized how paying attention on one thing can block you from noticing other important (or in this case kind of funny) things that you should also be paying attention to.
Hello :) I mentioned a few posts ago that I would put a work in progress drawing of my baby cousin. If you do not know what I am talking about, click here.
The drawing is actually looking pretty AWESOME so far! I was not expecting such an improvement! Hmm, my best drawing before the 2PM and this drawing of my cousin is probably the Rihanna portrait. Before that, I would never imagine my drawings to look almost like a picture as they do now. I hope I can keep them to look as good as my expectations, if not then no worries, that will help motivate me more. Here is the work in progress portrait of my baby cousin!
A sepia image I took, because it looked cool haha
I have been using the grid method to get accuracy and draw faster lately. I think it is a great tool to use for numerous reasons. But I also think it might lessen the confidence of an artist without the grid method. So basically, the grid method is good if you are doing commissions for people or if you really want your drawing to look awesome! That does not mean that drawing without a grid will not make your drawing look great though. Whether or not you use the grid method, the key to making every great portrait drawing look realistic is how well you know your shading. If you are really good at that, you can do magic with your pencils and make your portraits look alive! At least this is what I think. :-P
Anyways, here is another work in progress but in video of the 2PM drawing I made. I posted the pictures in this post.
SO besides drawing, how was your New Years? Mine was pretty awesome! My family went to a family friend's house and spent our new year there. It was actually unique from the past new years because my brother and I actually sang the karaoke without force. Well, it was because there was a raffle.. and whoever's name was pulled out gets to win a movie pass!!! SO my brother and I sang LOTS of songs. There was one catch though, you have to have at least a 98 score to enter the raffle. We got lots of 100 so that meant lots of chances to win the movie passes!! Haha, we also played some pretty awesome games and did other stuff as well.
Well that is about it, I had a great start of the New Year- we actually went home at 3 in the morning! Hmm, hopefully next New Year's will be fun too. I also hope I can use the movie passes we won before school starts! Oh deng, got to catch up on homework and studying...I guess no going to the theatre for me >.<
Helloo you :) Well I’m Jobelle.
I’m a senior in High School who
very much likes to draw pencil
realism during my spare time.
I also happen to like photography
and so you will be seeing that
a lot! Though I am an amateur,
I will try my best to make them
look professional (bahaha! right) :D This blog
is rather random so expect to
see the randomness things. Umm, I guess that's it for now. Enjoy :]
